Buddy Boy
Arrived: July 18 | Adopted: July 20

Buddy Boy arrived and just bowled us away. He is so sweet, gentle, playful and loving. Within hours of him landing stateside, his prospective adopter met him and said, “I do.” Soon Buddy Boy will be chilling at home with Patrick, Check out sweet BB playing and cuddling!

Tokyo (Zoey)
Arrived: July 21 | Adopted: July 21

Tokyo, now Zoey, came knowing she was heading to her forever home! Stephen saw her photo and knew she would give 15-year-old Bryce a new lease on life. We know this is a match made in heaven. Welcome home, sweet Zoey!

Notte
Arrived: July 2 | Adopted: July 2

Sweet Notte is 20lbs and about 5-years-old. He arrived greeting us with love and kisses. His forever mom was thrilled to welcome him home and says, “he’s happy, spoiled and so loved and he’s made loads of new friends in the neighborhood.” Welcome home!

 

Lindo
Arrived: June 25 | Adopted: July 9

Lindo is sweet and adorable and a true snuggler. He loves being with his human and getting lots of pets and belly rubs. Watch him here giving kisses! He met his perfect match when he met Tammy and Chloe and he is making sure they know that they are loved by smothering them in kisses.

Expresso
Arrived: June 20 | Adopted: July 5

Little 16lb Expresso is a cute one-year-old. He is happy, playful and confident. He loves other dogs, adores to play ball and is the life of the party. He landed on his paws when he got adopted by Joanne and Josua. He has been loving life going on long hikes and getting lots of fetch time. Watch him play fetch!

Polly
Arrived: March 21 | Adopted: Aug 15

Polly is being treated for heartworm but in the meantime is chilling with her foster-to-adopt mom. She is happy, playful and cuddly. She is also a great office assistant, she will just curl up on her bed or use her toys as pacifiers while you work or are busy in a meeting. She loves being the only dog in the home.

 

Fifi
Arrived: May 2 | Adopted: June 3

Little 18lb Fifi is 2-years-old and starts a little reserved but quickly warms up once she gets settled in. She is affectionate and cuddly with her human and loves being the diva of her forever home.

Nona (Samoa)
Arrived: May 2 | Adopted: May 14

Samoa is two years old and fully grown at 30lbs. She met her family and instantly knew she was home. She shares her life with Big Boy, Leon, and the Ladarola family. Mom says, “We fell very in love with her already. We settled on a new name: ‘Nona.’ We think she has a wise face. (Nona means grandma).”

Roxy (Foxy)

Foxy and Ginger have been hanging out together in their rescue home in Puerto Rico, Foxy is super cuddly and affectionate with her humans. She is already heading to her forever home where she joins TR alum, Onyx and Christa and Ryan and the kids. And she will also have a feline friend!

 

Gigi (Ginger)

Arrived: April 30 | Adopted: May 6

Ginger is a sweet girl of 15lbs and about 5-years-old. She came to us when her mom in PR could no longer take care of her. We were thrilled to help her find a forever home so that she can start living her best life. Word is that she had a few kitty friends in PR and loves her canine friends!

Lucia
Arrived: April 8 | Adopted: May 4

Lucia is sweet and playful and loves other dogs. She is a sweet 8-month-old, 27lb Italian Greyhound/Shepherd mix. She loves to play fetch with the kids and has never met a pup she didn’t want to play with. Check her out playing and having fun. She also loves to be close to her humans and go for walks and excursions with them. .

Ozzie (Led Zeppelin)

This cute little boy arrived and is a happy, sweet poodle mix. He is about a year old and is getting settled into his forever home!

 

Peluche
Arrived: March 26 | Adopted: April 7

Lauren saw sweet Peluche on the website, asked to meet him and in hours it was a done deal. Peluche means Teddy Bear in Spanish and that is what he is, a sweet teddy bear. He is happy, playful and confident but also loves to cuddle. He enjoys playing with other pups but is also just as happy to cuddle with his humans. Watch him as he explores his new world.

Winnie (Jade)

She’s a sweet little 16lb, 2 year old pup with the cutest spots. Could she have Dalmatian in her? She is gentle, affectionate and loving. Her furever family met her and knew she was just the perfect pup to complete there family. Welcome to the Wyatt family.

Apollo
Arrived: March 27 | Adopted: March 31

Apollo met mom, Kira and it was mutual love at first sight. After a spa day special, Apollo headed home to spend the first of his furever nights with Kira. She can’t wait to spoil this Puerto Rican street dog and help him forget this time on the mean streets of PR.

 

Teddy Bear

Teddy Bear was spoken for before he arrived. Heidi and Armaan took one look at this sweet face and knew they were ready to give him a permanent home. Dumped outside one of our rescuers homes, we jumped into action and got him ready as quickly as possible. He is now loving life with mom and brother. Welcome home, Teddy Bear!

Daffy
Arrived: March 26 | Adopted: April 2

Daffy is a happy, medium energy girl who loves to cuddle with her human or humans. She kept foster mom company while she recovered from her cold and then went to join her furever family of Melissa, Nick and the two boys. We are thrilled that she is staying in the neighborhood. Check her out!

Mila (Katy)
Arrived: March 3 | Adopted: April 2

Mila is a gentle andeasy-going kind of girl. Furever mom named her Mila in honor of her rescuer in Puerto Rico, Milagros. Mila met her furever mom and it was love at first sight. She and mom, Eileen look forward to lots of snuggle time and walks along the water in Annapolis. Mom and the while family of rescue dog lovers are thrilled to welcome her home.  Check her out!

 

Mia

Sweet Mia loved life with her foster parents and canine sibling but it didn’t take her long to settle in to her furever home. She and dad, Eric love to take long walks to visit the nearby horses and then settle down for a nap on the sofa. Watch her as she explores her new life here stateside.

OllieBear

Look who just got his ticket to ride! Ollie is sweet, easy-going and just the perfect snuggle buy/water bottle. He likes to take walks with his peeps and then share the couch while you watch netflixs. He joins Victoria and Mardy and the kitties.

Farley (Itsy)
Arrived: March 4 | Adopted: March 10

Farley (formerly Itsy) is a sweet little guy who spent his life with his sister, Bitsy, until circumstances with the family meant they ended up in a shelter and were separated. He just found his forever home with two buddies, Ollie and Kody, and forever pawrents, Josh and Carly. We couldn’t be happier for this boy.

 

Obi (Buddy)

Meet Buddy, he is a happy, sweet, friendly little 20 lb Dachshund/Shih Tzu mix. He was surrendered by his owner when she was no longer able to take care of him. He is sweet and happy and excited about life with his new parent, Yusuff!

Coco (CocoChowder)

Coco is a sweet two-year old retriever mix and fully grown at 40 lbs. It took him some time to find the perfect match, but he finally found his pawrents and new canine sibling, Marley! We are so happy for this cutie and can’t wait to hear all about his adventures. Check him out when he first got to the DMV during the cold weather.

Tinkerbell

Tinkerbell is a blue-eyed beauty who loves to cuddle and play. She is 20lbs and 18-months-old. We think she is an adorable combo of Dalmatian and possibly JRT, in other words, a true sato. We love those gorgeous blue eyes! Check her out on her first day in the DMV!

 

Casey (Blaze)

Blaze is a cute little 16lb shih tzu mix who is a year old. He loves to play with pups his size and to cuddle with his humans. He is happy, curious and fearless. Check him out meeting a goat for the first time!

Zoe
Arrived: February 19 | Adopted: February 23

Little Zoe is a yorkie/terrier mix and is a happy, calm and gentle girl who weighs 12lbs. She loves to get cuddles and snuggles and to be close to her person while watching netflix movies! Watch her during her first few days stateside.

Roxie
Arrived: November 25 | Adopted: March 26

We can’t be happier to announce that Roxie decided she had landed on her paws and wanted to stay at the farm! This collie/sheltie mix was true to her DNA and loved the lifestyle of herding goats, sheep, horses, donkeys and the occasional chicken. She is living her best life with pawrent, Gary at Hatton Animal Sanctuary.

 

Finn (Byron)

Byron is now Finn and he went home to his long lost sister! Not really, but if you met them you would think they were related! She is a sweet, playful short legged girl like him and they are a match made in heavan. Welcome home, Byron. Check this little boy out. See Byron hang out with his friends!

Benji (BenjiAmore)

BenjiAmore is 10 months old and 17lbs, He quickly caught the eyes of Reeve and Kathryn and is happily getting settled in and learning the routines of home. Check him out playing with his friend, Kiki.

Poppy (Kiki)

Poppy, formerly known as Kiki, is 17 lbs and sweet as can be. She can be a little shy, but quickly warmed up to her new family and is showing everyone how playful and cuddly she really is. Check her out during her first few hours stateside.

 

Teddy (Benji)

Little Teddy is just as sweet as can be. We think he is a poodle/schnauzer mix. He is comfortable with other dogs, curious, and confident. He loves to be cuddled! He also has the softest fur ever. See him in action!

Frankie (Scout)
Arrived: December 29 | Adopted: January 27

Scout was fostered by one of our adopters who wanted to see if he would be a good match for Rio, his brother from another mother! (In reality, they could be brothers but are completely unrelated). It was a match made in heaven, and Debra and Tayler decided to make it official. Rio and Scout will be playing and sleeping together from here on out.

Snowy
Arrived: January 13 | Adopted: January 15

And it is a “foster fail” - 20 lb Snowy is two-years-old and a Shih Tzu/Poodle mix. It was only three days before his foster parents realized he was the perfect match for them. He is a funny, affectionate sweet little guy who is a cuddler and a player. He loves belly rubs and sleeping with his peeps.

 

Olive (Nathalie/Squish)

This cutie is 5-months-old and as sweet and mellow as can be. Although she is happy and playful, she has a calmness and sweetness that is an unexpected delight in a puppy! She is going home to a buddy to play with and is staying local and close to her foster parents. They will be sad to see her go but know they will see her often. Rico (Gizmo)

Gizmo is a happy, easy-going, fun-loving bundle of joy who found his forever mom in Mary Lou. She was looking for a loyal companion and it was love at first sight when they met. Lucky Rico will be spending time with the resident dog and following mom around as she does her artwork. Check this sweet boy out and if you haven’t got enough, watch here!

Zuki (Katye)
Arrived: November 17 | Adopted: December 1

Zuki, formerly known as Katye, is just over a year and about 21lbs. We think she is a long-haired Dachshund mix. She is sweet and affectionate and living with Lara, a first-time foster fail! That means, her first foster became her forever pup! Welcome home, Zuki! Check her out.

 

Dulce
Arrived: December 17 | Adopted: December 28

Dulce means sweetness and her rescuer says that is exactly what she is. She is a year old and about 22lbs and is calm and sweet. She enjoys playing with other dogs but is just as happy to chill with her peeps. She just met her forever mom and is looking forward to being spoiled and loved by Danna.

Abi (Tammy)
Arrived: December 8 | Adopted: December 21

Tammy is now known as Habichuela, or Abi for short. Habichuela means “bean” in Spanish and is a reminder of her Puerto Rican roots. She is loving life with her fur-ever mom who dresses her up in cute sweaters and loves to teach her new tricks! Here she is snuggling and loving.

Squeaker (Alani)
Arrived: November 9 | Adopted: December 15

She’s sweet, funny, playful, tiny and she stole foster mom, Evangeline’s heart! She has been hanging out giving lots of joy and happiness to the whole family and they decided was time to make her a permanent member of the family. She will be welcoming in other foster pups and helping them get adjusted. Welcome to the Toby Rescue family!

 

Sailor (Rooney)
Arrived: February 14 | Adopted: December 25

What can we say, Rooney is a “foster fail”, After months of us trying to find him the perfect home, he convinced us he was already home at Toby’s Rescue HQ. This sweet, goofy, smart boy stole our hearts and we realized we didn’t want to give him up. Toby, however, is still reminding him who is top dog!

Reo (Oreo)
Arrived: December 17 | Adopted: December 18

Little Reo is a year old and is 15lbs. He came and wooed his forever family at first sight. This sweet, happy and playful boy crawled into Thomas lap and started giving kisses and it was all over! Reo is now settled and living his best life with Scott and Thomas.

Scrappy (Kimathi)
Arrived: November 21 | Adopted: December 6

Scrappy is 10bs and a cute Japanese Chinn mix, he is sweet, affectionate and very cuddly. He loves to curl up close to you in bed. He has settled into his forever home with his canine buddy, Johnny and family who take turns carrying him, cuddling him and snuggling up to him. He couldn’t imagine a better life!

 

Tully (Tully)
Arrived: November 17th | Adopted: December 5th

Tully is a sweet little girl who was surrendered to us when her family had to return stateside and couldn’t take her. We promised Jeannette and her son that we would find her a wonderful forever home here in the DMV. Toby delivered! Tully is loving life with her forever mom, Sarah. She gets to run around in the fenced back yard with her buddy and then go on long runs with her mom on the trails around Maryland!

Luna (Kelly)
Arrived: November 17th | Adopted: December 18th

Little Miss Luna arrived with her buddy Pica and we thought they were bonded together. But it turns out this shy thingwas just waiting to be the queen of the house. She is loving life with furever mom, Marcella

Pica (Pica - thepeakyblinder)

Little 5lb Pica arrived with his buddy, Kelly. At first we thought they needed to stay together but after a stint at their foster home, we realized they were looking for very different things in life! It turns out that Pica was meant to spend his days entertaining his foster pawrents, now forever pawrents and Kelly is looking forward to heading to her forever home in very soon. Manny (Lucas)
Arrived: November 16th | Adopted: November 20th

John and Barbara have two sweet older Westies and they wanted to give them a brother to play with. They came, they met sweet Lucas and the rest is history. Lucas went home that day with his brothers and pawrents. The kitties are still trying to adjust to this new member of the family but they are warming up every day.

Pepper (Pinky)
Arrived: October 6th | Adopted: October 6th

Pinky is now Pepper and Joe is totally in love after a 3 days of hand-holding. It is a definite and we can say, “Adopted and adored, Joe and Margaret met Pinky and fell for her happy, wagging tail and gentle manners. They said, “yes” and took her home. She is loving life being spoiled and coddled. She spent her first few days being a tourist with her parents in the city.

Daisy (Dixie)
Arrived: October 6th | Adopted: November 9th

Dixie is now Daisy - Laurie and Laurielle took one look at her cute scruffy face and knew she would be the perfect addition to their household. They love her sassy, fearless ways and her love of cuddles and affection. She loves the backyard where she can explore and loves that she is the center of attention

Sparky (Sparky)
Arrived: October 9th | Adopted: October 18th

Sparky is a bundle of joyful puppy energy. When Sparky’s foster mom took him home it wasn't long before her neighbor spotted him and knew he would be the perfect fit for their family. Sparky is now loving life with his canine sister and two human siblings. He keeps the whole house entertained with his puppy antics.

Chululu (Hershey)
Arrived: October 8th | Adopted: October 11th

Chululu, Lulu for short, was picked up by her foster mom one evening and the next day mom said she was the one. Toby’s Rescue was happy to make Lulu and Gladivel a permanent team. Mom couldn’t believe how quickly she settled in and made herself at home. As an added bonus, Gladivel is going to be a flight angel for us and bring back another pup from Puerto Rico!

Dulce (Jazzie)
Arrived: October 22nd | Adopted: October 24th

Dulce is the perfect name for this sweet pup. Her new mom Joanne, originally from Puerto Rico, wanted to adopt a sato for years. She knew also that sometimes little black dogs sometimes have to wait for their forever homes. When she saw Dulce, Joanne knew it was meant to be! Dulce will be joining her canine siblings, Tico and Benny.

 
 

Ossie (Osa)
Arrived: September 30 | Adopted: October 7

Mary met Ossie and she immediately loved her happy jaunty attitude. It didn’t hurt that she was adorable too! Once Mary and Alan got the house ready and stocked up on toys and treats, Ossie went home. She now has a canine buddy from Toby’s rescue named Pelusa who looks a lot like her! And that’s a good thing!

Rosie Sparkles (Carmel)
Arrived: October 1 | Adopted: October 3

Tessa saw Rosie’s video on the Toby’s Rescue web site before she arrived stateside and immediately decided to adopt her. Rosie is the sweetest pup and she loves to snuggle with her mom.

Kleo (Kleo)
Arrived: September 11 | Adopted: September 14

Kleo was scooped up and went to her forever home within days of her arrival. Her new family fell in love with her at first sight. She joins a pack of four canine boys and forever parents Mark and Daniel. She is going to be busy ruling this roost!

 

Snoopy (Tyler)
Arrived: August 15 | Adopted: September 7

Tyler loves other dogs and so hit the jackpot when he met is forever family who already have another dog, Hazel. He and Hazel spend hours playing in the backyard and then they cozy up together for a long naps. His new family is thrilled to have him.

Buster (Buster)
Arrived: July 28 | Adopted: August 10

Buster loves belly rubs and asking for them is how he says hello when he meets new people. When Sara and Paul met him, he had them at “hello.” At his new home, he gets frequent snuggles and cuddles, not to mention belly rubs.

Chela (Pippi)
Arrived: August 7 | Adopted: August 17

Chela is a happy, playful, confident little pup who is full of terrier energy. Mike and Jim saw her and knew she would make the perfect sister for Toby Rescue alum, Guerito who was recently adopted by them. Guerito and Chela are best buds now and they both get along with the two feline members of their family.

 

CeCe (Celeste)
Arrived: May12 | Adopted: July 7

Cece is adored by her new mom Clarissa who is a first time dog owner. Cece is a sweet lab mix with beautiful blue eyes. Clarissa says that having Cece to come home to at the end of the day is a joy she never anticipated. There is no question that Cece found her perfect home.

GusGus (Ryann)
Arrived: June 28 | Adopted: July 5

GusGus is loving life with her canine sister, Tulip who is showing her the ropes. A sassy, busy little pup with soulful eyes, she quickly settled in with her new family. Hailey and Cody love having her and she is having a great time playing with Tulip who outweighs her by a lot!


Charlie (Bodo)
Arrived: July 4 | Adopted: July 8

Charlie waited patiently to get his ticket to ride here. When he finally arrived, everyone was impressed with his happy disposition and adorable looks. Within days, he joined his forever dad, Mike. They now enjoy walks in Rock Creek Park and playing with other dogs in the community.

 

Gibson (Gordon)
Arrived: June 28 | Adopted: July 2

Gibson is living his best life with Dave and Jessica who love his happy disposition and also appreciate his tennis ball obsession! He now spends his evenings in the fenced backyard playing endless games of fetch with Dave and then taking long naps with Jessica. As a bonus, he has also decided he is a 63lb lap dog!

Guerito (Alex/Max)
Arrived: June 28 | Adopted: July 2

Jaunty little Guerito stayed with his foster mom and two canine siblings for a couple of months and then Jim and Michael met him. It was love at first sight. Although they always had large rescue dogs in the past, they were ready to downsize! When they met little Alex with his giant personality, they knew he was the one. He is now loving life with them and their two cats.

Pepe (Tyson)
Arrived: June 12 | Adopted: July 1

Pepe is an adorable happy little pup with a big smile! Priscilla, who adopted him, waited patiently for just the right pup to come along. Finally, it was meant to be. Priscilla now enjoys spoiling him rotten and showing him off to her neighbors!

 

Leo (on the left) and Salem
Arrived: Feb 14 | Adopted: June 8

There is no greater joy than to see a sweet gentle but very scared boy find his forever home. Leo touched our hearts. He is a gentle, old soul who was looking for a home where he would be given time to find himself and be confident. And he finally found his perfect home with Gretchen and his canine sibling Salem. All our pups touch us but some more than others. Leo was one of those that we prayed for, hoped for and believed in. He has shown us how far a pup can come with patience and love.


 

Canela Roo
Arrived: May 29 | Adopted: June 7

This sweet, smart girl was snatched up almost as soon as she arrived. Her sister, Inka and she were picked up from the side of the road in southwest PR by one of our rescuers. They were less than six weeks old. She got them prepped and healthy and spayed and soon they were winging their way to us. She is now loving life with her family that includes resident dog, Dalton.

Chispa
Arrived: June 3 | Adopted: June 4

We got a call about Chispa before she had arrived. The adopting family were looking for a sister for their resident dog, Pippin. They took one look at Chispa and knew she would be the perfect addition. It was those ears! Those amazing sato ears! She is now loving life in Northern Virginia with Pippin, Ethan and Patricia.

Cleo (Blondie)
Arrived: June 28 | Adopted: July 2

Cleo was the hit of the party when she arrived off the plane from Puerto Rico. In no time, she was adopted by Jean who has two daughters and another dog Mia. Chloe will be going to college soon with one of Jean’s daughters and no doubt, she will be her best friend.

 

Inca Noches
Arrived: May 29 | Adopted: May 29

Inca and her sister, Canela Roo were found dumped on the side of the road by one of our rescuer/fosters. She scooped them up, took them home and prepped them for their flight to the DMV. Taj had been waiting a long time for a pup and when he saw a photograph of her, he fell in love. Taj and Inka are learning each other's routines and looking forward to a long and happy life together.

Tigger (Rex)
Arrived: May 11 | Adopted: May 18

A local family reached out to us for help to find a new home for Tigger. They had planned to adopt him when their neighbor could no longer care for him but he wasn’t a good match with their resident dog. We quickly put the word out that an adorable, energetic 74 lb Golden-doodle pup was looking for a forever home with a canine buddy and a fenced yard. Tigger is now living his best life with his canine sister, Sookie! We love happy endings.

Cosita
Arrived: May 12 | Adopted: May 15

Cosita was initially a little shy and scared but Dante, her 70 lb foster brother quickly showed her the ropes and in no time she was happily following him everywhere and learning from him. She headed off to her forever home in Annapolis after ten days in her foster home. Her new buddy is a golden retriever.

 

Cocco
Arrived: April 27 | Adopted: May 4

Sweet Cocco is goofy, playful, and all-terrier! When foster mom Vera first saw Cocco, she decided he had a permanent home with her. Vera loves trying to catch him and introducing him to the neighborhood dogs. Soon her yard will be fenced so he can race around to his hearts content! How could anyone resist that face?

Lucky River (Buddy)
Arrived: April 27 | Adopted: May 5

Lucky River is a sweet cuddlebug. He believes his place is in his forever mom’s arms! She says, “You can have no idea what a difference Lucky River has made to our lives. He has made himself completely at home here & he is loved and spoiled with (seemingly) endless walks and belly rubs. It’s hard to imagine he was ever a street dog.”

Cajeta (Carmela)
Arrived: April 25 | Adopted: May 4

When Cajeta arrived here, she was a wiggly, squiggly puppy and a very lucky girl. She was found in a storm drain during a torrential downpour just outside of San Juan and our rescuer managed to save her. She was just a little 8 week old pup trying to survive. Her foster mom Marisa decided to make her a permanent part of her family. Carmela will now get to join the Toby's Rescue team on transports and welcome the newly arriving satos.

 

Becki (Victoria)
Arrived: March 24 | Adopted: April 30

Sweet, shy, and very picky Becki likes the quiet life. Her mom Scarleth was perfect for her and Becki agreed. Becki’s real personality has emerged now that she is comfortable and safe.

Socrates (Socks/Soco)
Arrived: March 24 | Adopted: March 28

Socrates is a friendly, happy little guy who loves everyone, whether human or canine. The description of his happy personality got Elizabeth and Scott’s attention and in no time at all, he was adopted and heading to their home where his antics are keeping them laughing. Avett (Snowy)
Arrived: February 28 | Adopted: April 5

Avett , like his siblings Roscoe (Snowy) and Pepita (Imani), was a little skittish when he arrived. It soon became clear he would thrive with a canine buddy so we found him a home with Mia, his friend being wrestled down here. He is living his best life with forever Mom Rosemary near Baltimore Harbour.

 

Daisy (Amy2)

Cute, confident, feisty Daisy is keeping her new forever mom Leigh busy! After interrupting Leigh’s zoom calls in the beginning with her mischievous behavior, she has learned to chill in her crate when necessary. Daisy loves long walks in Rock Creek Park and will be attending puppy training.

When he first arrived as a foster pup, Brody escaped a couple of times to explore the world! No more! His parents John and Keith decided he was the “one” after fostering more than 10 satos for Toby’s Rescue. Brody will be happy to mentor new foster satos for his parents.

Monty (Rocky)

Monty was keeping his foster family busy and entertained but after a couple of weeks there, he met his forever adoptive Mom Sophie and it was a match! Look at his happy, sweet face!

 

Charlie (Matt D.)

Charlie arrived as a cute 4-months-old puppy and was fostered by Teresa and Pepe. They were not in the market to adopt a pup yet but Charlie won them over in no time. Even though he might be bigger than they planned for, they are now giving this sweet, funny and playful boy a forever home.

Chewie (Chloe Arlet)

Chloe, a happy, playful and confident little girl, immediately melted Kathie and David’s hearts when they met her. She now spends hours chasing tennis balls in her large fenced yard and going on neighborhood walks with Kathie.

Charlie Alligator (Charlie)

Sweet, blind little Charlie found his perfect forever home within days of arriving. In his new family his canine brothers, both Shih Tzu pups like him, are showing him the ropes. His adoptive Mom has already created his very own Instagram page, be sure to follow him @charlie_alligator!

 

Rico (Cotton2)

Rico never met a person, dog, or cat he didn’t like. He fit right into his new pack at Lenore’s house which includes two canine buddies and his feline friend Tina Turner seen here. He is going to class at the Capital Dog Training Institute where he is learning to give up his “escape artist” ways!

Roscoe (Noel)
Arrived: February 28 | Adopted: March 2

Roscoe arrived on a cold and snowy day and like many satos, wanted to head straight home!
But then he met his baby canine brother Scooch at Cynthia and Ed’s house and the two dogs played nonstop for three hours. Now Roscoe, doesn’t mind the cold, as he frolics with Scooch and his other canine siblings.
Cynthia and Ed have since joined Toby’s Rescue team and we are thrilled to welcome them!

Reyna

Reyna is such a happy, affectionate little girl. It wasn’t long before her foster mom Chris and family realized they couldn’t let her go. She’s a star in their dog-friendly community where she loves to meet and greet all her neighbors, canine and otherwise.

 

Izzy (Greg)
Arrived: February 8 | Adopted: February 16

Sweet, playful Izzy adapted well to his foster home with another sato but he was just as happy to play with his human siblings in his forever home. He and his new family are delighted to snuggle, play and sleep together.

Tommy

Tommy, an adorable puppy with a cute button nose and shy eyes, has a new home with Alicia and Mike. Their five year old son Zander is happy to have a canine sibling.
Tommy fit right in to the family’s routine without a hitch. He learned his commands “sit, down, and roll over” before he was three months old. Smart boy.

Hank (Home Depot Hank)

Poor Home Depot Hank was hit in a parking lot in Puerto Rico. Our rescuers rushed in to save him. It took a while to find the perfect family for this senior citizen but we did and Hank is now living the life of Riley in his new home with John and Crystal.
