Please note that we DO NOT adopt outside of a 75-minute radius of the Greater Washington D.C. area.

With his charming white beard and matching chest, Abel is serving distinguished gentleman vibes—just with a playful, goofy twist. At 2 years young and 26 lbs, he’s the perfect mix of fun and cuddles. This boy loves to get close to his mama! Abel rocked his bath time like a pro, and plays great with his furry friends! This boy has the cutest little underbit that makes him look like he is smiling all the time. If you’re looking for a playful, lovable companion, Abel just might be your guy! Rocky is a gentle soul with kind eyes. He LOVES his crate, is quiet and chill. He enjoys a walk and then is happy to head back for a nap. This poor boy was living with his rescuer for two years until we said, “yes”. We are so happy we did. He is just a good, good boy. Watch this sweet boy during his first few days here getting a bath and getting settled!

Arturo and his brother, Abelf arrived stateside. Happy and playful they quickly turn snuggly and sweet given the opportunity. Belly rubs are a favorite past time and if there is a stuffed toy to carrier around, so much the better. He rocked bathtime like a pro. Loves to cuddle close and is great with all pups. Perla arrived happy, confident and sweet as can be. She loves to snuggle, enjoys going on walks to explore and is a dream to walk. At a compact 12lbs and two years old, she is the sweetest little thing and perfect around kids and inexperienced dog owners. She enjoys her time with other pups, big and small but iin her world, a human lap is her favoriite place. Watch her on her first day stateside.

Miss Bianca is an adorable little chi mix with the classic giant ears of a sato. This little cutie won the lottery and soon will be winging her way here. She will get to decompress for a few days with Sammie at TR-East and once she is ready to meet the world, she will be asking you to fill her dance card.

Sweet as can be and within less than a week, a foster fail! Foster mom, Emily, couldn’t resist saying, “YES”. Sweet Bluey has the most unique coloring. Don’t be fooled from the photo, this sweetie is a very petite little pup of 24 lbs. calm, quiet, sweet and gentle, he loves to chill in his crate when nothing is going on but if there is a pup to play with, he is ready. Watch Bluey in his first days stateside.

Ozzie is a happy, easy-going little guy who is playful, happy and fun. He is a dachshund mix with the cutest short legs and an adorable furrowed brow. He loves to cuddle but settles in his crate happily. He loves to explore a yard, have zoomies and play with other pups but is also just as happy being with his person. He can be a little overwhelmed in new situations and shy away but as soon as he has settled he is a bundle of joy! Watch him having fun with his buddy!

This sweet one year old is just waiting for her flight angel to appear and bring her to us! We have not yet found her angel, but hope to very soon! Hoping that htis sweet gal will be winging her way to us by April, but we don’t know quite yet - stay tuned for more information! With her beautiful smile and gorgeous coloring, we are sure she will be snatched up fast!

Meet Rocky, a charming 19lb tuxedo Chihuahua with a heart of gold! This little boy is working on losing a couple of ounces and when he does, his freedom flight awaits! This cuddly and friendly boy is ready to find his forever home in Maryland, where he can embark on a fun fitness journey with his new mom. Sweet Rocky is eager to get trim and healthy, and he's looking forward to all the adventures that await!

What happens when we make a trip to PR, we meet so many wonderful pups who have been patiently waiting for a ride off the island. We met River and couldn’t resist his gorgeous eyes. Sweet and friendly and wanting the opportunity to run, play and have fun, we said YES! Stay tuned as we work to get a cargo flight for some of these bigger satos.
